Catholic Schools celebrate Catholic education in unique ways
With a theme of “Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service,” the 60 schools of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston are celebrating National Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 26 – Feb. 1, 2014. Instituted by the National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA), the week is dedicated to celebrating faith and the exceptional standards of Catholic schools, as well as their achievements and communities.January 19, 2014

This weekend the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston will take time to reflect upon and remember the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at its 29th Annual Mass of Remembrance. Houston-area Charities Come Together for Poverty Awareness Month
Three Houston-area organizations are banding together for Poverty Awareness Month this coming January.
