Blue Mass honors the men and women of law enforcement
Houston – Every day the men and women of law enforcement dedicate themselves, and risk their lives, to protect the citizens of the Galveston-Houston area. At 5 p.m. this Saturday, Sept. 24, Auxiliary Bishop George A. Sheltz will lead Catholics from across the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston as they honor and thank these men and women at the Archdiocesan Law Enforcement Blue Mass. The Mass will be held at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway in downtown Houston.September 22, 2016

For Catholics across the country, Friday, Sept. 9, 2016, is a Day of Prayer for Peace in Our Communities. The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston will honor the day with a Mass at 12:10 p.m. and a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 9.
