Risk Management is responsible for the administration of the Archdiocesan insurance program (property, liability, workers' compensation and fleet automobile), coordination of risk management and safety programs, compliance with policies and procedures and acts as the Archdiocesan liaison with Catholic Mutual Group and Catholic Umbrella Pool.
The Risk Management Office coordinates the Archdiocesan insurance programs as they relate to and/or affect Archdiocesan employees (clergy, religious and lay) and the Archdiocese's numerous facilities, locations, services, and programs. This office also works with Catholic Mutual Group in responding to claims made against the Archdiocese. The office also brings awareness to Archdiocesan facilities on risk factors and how to make facilities as safe and secure as possible for staff/parishioners and property.
