A record-breaking 10,000 runners started their Saturday supporting the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston
On Saturday, February 2, a blessing from Daniel Cardinal DiNardo and the beautiful peeling bells of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart sent almost 10,000 runners and participants of all ages as they took part in the eighth annual Steps for Students 5K Run/Walk and the David K. Guite Memorial 1K Family Fun Run. The event benefits the network of 59 Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston.January 30, 2013
