Young Adult Ministry
The Office of Young Adult & Campus Ministry in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston seeks to provide a home for all young adults within the Catholic Church in their late teens, 20s, and 30s. One of 60-plus ministries supported by the Diocesan Services Fund (DSF), it currently serves approximately 7,000 young adults (in English and Spanish) through programs and services provided at five college campuses and more than 60 parishes across the Archdiocese.

Parish Young Adult Groups
All young adults are encouraged to connect with a parish-based young adult ministry. A full listing of parishes that support this ministry can be found by clicking the link above. Parish-based young adult ministry is generally run by young adult volunteers who serve together on a leadership team.
Young Adult Workshops
The YACM Office offers several workshops for young adults throughout the year. These workshops include training for those serving as leaders in parish-based young adult ministry, sessions about bioethics, the Apostles on Mission program that helps young adults discern God's call to mission in their lives, and a course helping young adults who are discerning the vocation to marriage.

Café Catholica
Café Catholica is a speaker series for young adults that is held over four Mondays in the month of July. The Café Catholica program seeks to help young adults encounter Christ and his Church. Come for inspirational and informative talks, fellowship with Catholic young adults, great food, and time for prayer.
In addition to the main program, Café Connect offers an opportunity to help young adults make new connections by participating in small group discussions that happen sometime between Tuesday-Sunday following each Café Catholica presentation.
Retreats
The YACM Office offers two retreats: the Charis Ignatian Spirituality Retreat for anyone in their 20's and 30's and the Bayou Awakening retreat for those 18-25 years old. More details available by clicking the link above. These retreats happen once each year.
