Convivio de la Pastoral Juvenil 2023 - ¡Únete a los jóvenes adultos de la Arquidiócesis de Galveston-Houston en el Convivio Pastoral 2023! El propósito de este evento es para el crecimiento y motivación del joven adulto. Habrá oportunidad de conocer a otros jóvenes en la Pastoral Juvenil. No te querrás perder este tiempo de diversión. ¡Reserva la fecha del sábado, 22 de julio de 2023! Invitation for Alumni from University of Houston - Are you an alumnus from the University of Houston? The Catholic Newman Center would like to connect! All Catholic alumni from UH are invited to join the current students for the Graduation Mass on Sunday, May 7th, at AD Bruce Religion Center on campus at 10:45 am. After Mass, join us for a reception on the 2^nd floor to connect with fellow alumni, Catholic Newman Center Staff, and current students. Please join us as we celebrate the 2023 graduates. Congratulations to Class of 2023 - For any young adults who are graduating this month, congratulations! You are in our prayers as you continue on from your college education, and we hope and pray that you will continue to follow Christ’s call in your heart as you go forth into the next chapter of your life.

Café Catholica Lite: May - The next Café Catholica Lite will be held on May 11, 2023, at St Patrick Church (1010 35th St, Galveston) from 7:00-8:45 pm. Our speaker is Fr. Robert Murphy, SJ, Vocations Promoter with the Jesuits, and his talk will be “How to Make a Decision: Discerning the Ignatian Way.” The night will include lite snacks, the talk, Q&A, and communal prayer. The talk will be available to view online as well (link available online at www.archgh.org/cafecatholica).

Café Catholica-Save the Date - The Café Catholica summer series is open to all young adults (ages 18-39) and features dynamic speakers, prayer, and socializing. Café Catholica 2023 will be held in person at St. Anne Church (2140 Westheimer Rd., Houston) on three Mondays in July starting on July 10th. Each night will include Confession at 5:15 pm, Mass at 6:15 pm, Dinner at 7:15 pm, and Talk at 8:15 pm. This year’s theme is: Rise Up. Come for all or part of the evening! No registration is needed to attend. Donations are accepted.

Discovering Love with Clarity-Registration Still Open! - Are you seeking the meaning of love? Please join us for the upcoming Discovering Love with Clarity program open to all young adults. Discovering Love with Clarity is a series offormation and encounter for singles, dating, and engaged couples willing to explore the profound meaning of love and discernment of relationships.  The program, facilitated by Fr. Kingsley Nwoko, STL, includes 3 Saturday discussion sessions held at St. Dominic Chancery (2403 Holcombe Blvd.) on March 18, April 15, and May 20 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Registration also includes cost for a retreat held at Circle Lake Retreat Center (19000 Circle Lake Dr, Pinehurst) on June 16-18. Cost is $300. • July 21-23: Men’s Discernment Retreat @ St. Mary’s Seminary, Houston
  This retreat is designed for young adult men, 18-35, to help you consider a vocation to the diocesan priesthood. See attached flyer.
• July 22-29: Rediscovering Charity in Daily Life @ St. Patrick, Galveston
  For young women who feel attracted to married life and are serious about the mission God is calling them to. See attached flyer.
