Workshop Registration Frequently Asked Questions
Before contacting the Office of Worship with a question about our workshops, you may find answers to recurring questions below. Or, review our Workshops webpage to clarify our workshop rules and policies regarding registrations, refunds, and more.
- I didn't receive an invitation to register for the workshop. Can I still register?
- Yes, you can still register for the workshop even if you did not receive an invitation email. Click on the available workshop listed for more information and to register.
- I selected check / money order as my form of payment after submitting my registration, but would rather to pay with my credit card. How do I change my form of payment?
- Yes, you can pay for your registration by credit card after you've submitted your registration. To modify your registration, please refer to the Pending Confirmation email you received. Click on the link in your email and enter your confirmation number. Follow the prompts to submit your payment and click Finish at the end to confirm your registration modification.
- Where do I send my check payment:
- Make your check or money order out to Office of Worship and mail to Office of Worship, 2403 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77021.
- Please make sure that Office of Worship is on your payment envelope so the appropriate department receives your payment in a timely manner.
- I paid for my registration but will not be able to attend the workshop after all. Can I cancel my registration?
- We are sorry that you will not be able to attend the workshop. Please refer to the confirmation email you received after submitting your registration. In that email is a link to your current registration - click on that link and enter your confirmation number. Click on the Unregister button to cancel your registration. Follow the prompts and click Finish to save your modifications. We hope that you can join us at our future events.
- Is there a paper registration form that I can fill out for registration?
- All registrations are completed in electronic form. Please select your preferred workshop listed below to register. If a computer is not available to you at this time, you are welcome to use one of the computers in our lobby to register for the workshop. We are located at 2403 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77021 in the St. Dominic Chancery. Our business hours are from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday thru Friday.
- Please make sure to register online before sending in your payment. All check or money order payments must include a confirmation number. No checks or money orders will be accepted without a registration confirmation number.
- I want to change my form of payment and I can't find the email with my confirmation number. Can I just give you my credit card information over the phone?
- We sincerely apologize for the issues you are having. Unfortunately, as company policy, we are not allowed to take credit card information over the phone. Please click on the workshop you registered for (listed below) to modify your registration. Click on Already Registered? link. Enter the information requested and click the OK button. Select the Modify button and follow the prompts to enter your payment information. Click Finish at the end to save your modifications.
- We sincerely apologize for the issues you are having. Unfortunately, as company policy, we are not allowed to take credit card information over the phone. Please click on the workshop you registered for (listed below) to modify your registration. Click on Already Registered? link. Enter the information requested and click the OK button. Select the Modify button and follow the prompts to enter your payment information. Click Finish at the end to save your modifications.
- Can I substitute another person in my place?
- We are sorry that you will not be able to attend the workshop. Yes, you can substitute another person in your place. Please refer to the confirmation email you received after submitting your registration. In that email is a link to your current registration - click on that link and enter the requested information - click OK. Click the Substitute button and follow the prompts to continue. Make sure to click the Finish button at the end to save your modification. Please make sure to enter an email address for the person substituting for you so they can receive information via email regarding the workshop. We hope to see you in our future events.
- I'm not sure if I can find someone to watch over my children while I attend the workshop. Can I bring my kids with me?
- We understand that you may not be able to attend the workshop because of child care issues. However, in order to insure the safety of your children and our staff, please note that this facility does NOT provide childcare. As noted in our Workshops webpage: "Please note that this facility does not provide childcare. No minor child, toddler or infant is permitted in the workshop. There is no exception to this. Do not bring children or youth to the class. Children aged 11 and over must have a separate registration in order to stay in class. Children of all ages must have adult supervision at all times. Office of Worship staff, along with the host parish staff, will not be responsible for unsupervised children."
- If you are not able to locate child care before the workshop please notify our office at worshipoffice@archgh.org and we will either refund your registration fee, transfer your registration for a future event (must be of the same price as your current registration), or substitute another person of your choice in your place.
- Is there child care in your facility?
- There are NO child care facilities in our campus.
- Can I register on behalf of someone else?
- Yes, you can register on behalf of someone else. Please click on the available workshop to register (listed below). Enter the information of the person you are registering. Click the box "I am registering on behalf of this person" and enter your information. Follow the prompts to complete the registration and click Finish at the end.
- The registration is asking my vehicle license plate number. What if I am carpooling to the workshop?
- You can enter N/A to the Vehicle License Plate Number field if you plan on carpooling to the workshop.
- I was supposed to carpool to the workshop, but that plan has changed. Can I still enter my place number?
- Please refer to the confirmation email you received after registration. In that email is a link to view your current registration. Please click on that link - enter the requested information and click OK. Select the Modify button. You should be able to enter your vehicle license plate as you follow the prompts. Click Finish at the end to save your modifications and print your parking pass.
- I had to take my car to the shop and it won't be ready until after the workshop, but will have a rental car. Can I use the rental car vehicle license plate for the parking pass?
- Yes, please enter your rental car vehicle license plate to print a parking pass. Please refer to the confirmation email you received after registration. In that email is a link to view your current registration. Please click on that link - enter the requested information and click OK. Select the Modify button. You should be able to enter your vehicle license plate as you follow the prompts. Click Finish at the end to save your modifications and print your parking pass.
