Implementing the Archdiocesan Curriculum

What is the Archdiocesan Curriculum and how can it be implemented in our parish?

The following video will give you an overview of the archdiocesan curriculum:

The six tasks that a well-rounded catechesis completes (according to the General Directory for Catechesis):

The 6 tasks of a well-rounded catechesis are organized into the 4 units of the archdiocesan curriculum:

Every faith formation session or class has ONLY ONE essential question (EQ).

These are the essential questions that make up the archdiocesan curriculum:

The archdiocesan curriculum requires that every catechist implements the same teaching methodology, we call it "The Disciple Forming Lesson Sequence".

This is the Disciple Forming Lesson Sequence:

METODOLOGIA PARA DAR CLASES

QUE FORMEN DISCIPULOS MISIONEROS

How can a catechists learn how to use the Disciple Forming Lesson Sequence?

The new version of the catechetical modules was designed to train catechists to do just that.

Because many catechists around the archdiocese may not have access to instructor led trainings when they need them most, we are making the recordings of the catechetical modules available.

Please keep in mind that the following recordings have not been edited and may have some flaws and that we will not be able to grant you credit towards catechist certification for watching these recording. However, we hope that they will empower you to successfully implement the archdiocesan curriculum.
