Catechetics Modules

Catechetics Modules are an important part of the Catechist Formation process.  They are designed to provide formation and training in important catechetical methodology and pedagogy.  To see how the catechetics modules fit into the overall catechist formation process please click here.

Additionally, we are continuing to train facilitators for the catechetical modules.  There are over sixty catechetical personnel in the Archdiocese who have been in-serviced to offer the Catechetics Modules and hold trainings periodically. Please check with your parish catechetical leader to see if modules are being offered in your parish or parishes in your area.

The OEC will be offering Modules throughout the year.  For information about upcoming Catechetical Modules, go to  Capernaum.

Finally, the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis offers training to those who hold full catechist certificates to allow them to teach modules.  Those trainings are held at St. Dominic Center annually in the fall.  Check  Capernaum for upcoming module in-services.
