Framework Resources for PCLs
Stage 1: Initial In-Services of PCLs
The Chancery Staff is pleased to provide initial in-services to parish catechetical leaders regarding the Framework. Any group of PCLs who would like to schedule an in-service are invited to contact framework@archgh.org.
As an alternative to scheduling a live in-serive, a recorded Power Point presentation below provides an introductory overview of the historical development and vision of the Catechetical Framework as well as some guidance for usage. The resource is intended for parish catechetical leaders who have not attended one of the initial in-services or for PCLs who might want a refresher in the essentials of the Framework.

Resource for Adult Faith Formation for Catechetical Year 2014-2015
This resource consists of nine teaching tools on the catechetical theme "Teaching About God's Gift of Forgiveness." Each of the nine contains a brief teaching, a single reflection question related to that teaching, and references to the Catechism of the Catholic Church, the United States Catholic Catechism for Adults, and the Catechetical Framework for Lifelong Faith Formation for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Three models for how this resource might be used are given. Parishes are free to adopt or adapt any or all of these models. For this free resource designed especially for our Archdiocese, click here.
