Parish social ministry important to neighbors in need

HOUSTON ― Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Parish Social Ministry classes will begin Aug. 30 and run through Dec. 13 at St. Mary’s Seminary, 9845 Memorial Dr., on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. in the Nold Building.

The new program has been organized by Catholic Charities Parish Social Ministry Director Chris Rubio and Diaconate Director Deacon Gerald DuPont to register more deacons and volunteers who can assist their communities.
