HOUSTON — Together in Holiness, presented by the Houston-based St. John Paul II Foundation and the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, is a marriage enrichment conference which helps Catholic married couples discern God’s plan for their marriage.

This year, the conference will be held in two locations simultaneously on May 5: at St. Laurence Catholic Church, located at 3100 Sweetwater in Sugar Land, and at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, located at 7801 Bay Branch Dr. in The Woodlands.

Beginning at 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m., the one-day conference is open to all Catholic married and engaged couples in the greater Houston area, featured speakers include Father Mitch Pacwa, S.J. and Patty Schneier, with a third session featuring local leaders in a panel discussion on parenting and virtue.

Together in Holiness is a one-day marriage enrichment event featuring national and local speakers who inspire married couples to renew their marriages and form their children in the Catholic faith as parents.

“I invite every Catholic married couple to attend one of this year’s Together in Holiness events on May 5,” said Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, “and prayerfully renew your love for one another and for Our Lord, who is truly the center of every Christian marriage.”

Presented across the country by the St. John Paul II Foundation, a national Catholic apostolate that proclaims the Good News about life and family, the conference returns to the Archdiocese for the fourth time.

Designed as a series presented annually with three presentations, the conference also offers opportunities to spend time in adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, to go to confession and visit with representatives of various ministries and vendors present at the conference.

Both locations offer on-site child care (2 to 12 years) for the entire conference with pre-registration depending on availability and limitations.age for availability and limitations. Conference registration costs are $59 per couple or $35 per individual.

“With the blessing of growth in Together in Holiness comes the difficulty of outgrowing the facilities of the wonderful parishes that have hosted us in the past,” said Arland K. Nichols, president of the St. John Paul II Foundation. “So this year we are doing the conference in two parishes simultaneously, and between both locations we expect well over one thousand attendees. We’re humbled by Houston’s response to Together in Holiness in the past, and we’re going to make it available to as many couples as we can.”
