Archdiocese continues Pastoral Plan ‘listening sessions’

April 12, 2011

HOUSTON — The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston has begun a year-long Pastoral Planning Process. Daniel Cardinal DiNardo urged all Catholics to participate in listening sessions, during which the faithful can share what they need and hope for in coming years. Cardinal DiNardo implemented these sessions to gauge the faith and needs of local Catholics. The responses from the sessions will guide the development of a new pastoral plan for the Archdiocese. There are sessions being held in various parishes throughout the 10 counties of the Archdiocese. After the sessions, participants’ responses will be prioritized and a core team of Archdiocesan leaders will discern and propose potential directions to the Cardinal.
