5th annual Senior Arts & Craft Event to be last

On June 15, the Obama Administration announced a new immigration benefit for individuals who came to the U.S. as children. Under the new policy, known as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, many young people can qualify for protection from deportation and for permission to work.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul invites the public to be a part of the Friends of the Poor Walk. The one-mile walk is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 29. The Friends of the Poor Walk is a national program coordinated by the development team at the national office of the society.

A foundational course on the doctrine and theology of marriage for all couples and individuals working in marriage ministry is set for Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Dominic Archdiocesan Center, Morkovsky Hall, Room 205. The cost is $30 per couple or $20 individual.
