Prayers for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

Today at the General Audience in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican, His Holiness Pope Francis invited the Faithful to pray for Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI, who is in failing health.
In response to the Holy Father's invitation to pray for Benedict XVI, the Faithful of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston are invited to recite this prayer released by the Vatican:
Let us pray.
Almighty and Eternal God,
You are the everlasting health of
those who believe in You.
Hear our prayers for
Your sick servant Benedict
for whom we implore the aid of
Your tender mercy,
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
