Blue Mass for Law Enforcement Officials To Take Place Sept. 30

All active and retired employees of criminal justice agencies, their supporters and their families are invited to attend the annual Archdiocesan Blue Mass, Saturday, Sept. 30 at 5:00 p.m. at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in downtown Houston. Daniel Cardinal DiNardo will be the presider. Everyone is encouraged to come and pray for those that put their lives on the line daily for our protection.
Officers are encouraged to wear dress uniforms without the hat; agencies are encouraged to bring equipment for the public to see and to be blessed after the Mass. Agencies invited to attend include Police Departments, Sheriff Offices, Constables Offices, Correctional Agencies, Probation and Parole Agencies, Children and Adult Protective Agencies, Criminal Justice Education, Institutions, Military Police, Homeland Security Agencies, U.S. Coast Guard, FBI, DEA, DPS, TABC, TPW LEF, and TSA.
