Archdiocese honors those who protect and serve us

The men and women of law enforcement dedicate themselves, and risk their lives, to protect the citizens of the Galveston-Houston area.

On Saturday, September 28, 2013, Daniel Cardinal DiNardo and the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston will honor and thank them at the Annual Blue Mass.

The Mass is open to active and retired employees of criminal justice agencies, their families and the general public. It pays tribute to active and retired men and women of law enforcement who bravely protect and serve our community each day.

The Archdiocesan Annual Blue Mass will take place at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 1111 St. Joseph Parkway, Houston.

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston serves 1.2 million Catholics in 10 counties.
It is the largest Roman Catholic diocese in Texas and the 12th largest in the United States.
