CYM Retreat
CYM Retreat January 9-10, 2013 Sponsored by the Office of Youth Ministry Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Circle Lake Retreat Center 19000 Circle Lake Drive Pinehurst, Texas 77362 This annual retreat offers parish Coordinators of Youth Ministry (including volunteers who work with youth) the opportunity for two days of spiritual renewal and personal growth in their relationship with Christ. The retreat is designed to give CYMs the opportunity to gather as an archdiocesan youth ministry community for fellowship, networking and faith sharing through reflection and prayer. It is facilitated by a leader from the national level of Catholic Youth Ministry, where the participants are directed through group sessions, guided prayer experiences, quiet time for personal prayer and silence, small group conversations, and other experiences. The Ben Walther Band has traveled the country ministering to teens in various Dioceses, Ben has collaborated and ministered with ADORE Ministry and Franciscan University of Steubenville Summer Youth Conferences. Recently Ben was a Campus Minister at St. Agnes Academy in Houston, Texas. When not touring or making music, he spends his time with his first vocation, his family.
