Archdiocesan Catholic Conference for Youth Ministry (ACCYM)

ACCYM is a ministry conference open to all adults who work with adolescents in church ministry. Some of those roles include Religious Educators, Catechists, Campus Ministers, Youth Ministers, Volunteers, Retreat Team members, CORE Team members, Hospitality Teams, and Clergy. The purpose of ACCYM is to equip those who work with adolescents with additional skills for ministry and to renew their call to serve the young church.

In addition to having those who participate in youth ministry within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, we will have youth ministry leaders from the Dioceses within Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.



ACCYM will be on October 28-29th 2011 at the Intercontinental Hotel in the Galleria area of Houston, TX

Conference Keynotes

Bob Rice
-Bob is national speaker, musician/worship leader, and professor of Youth Ministry
at Franciscan University of Steubenville in Steubenville, Ohio.

Mike Patin
- Mike is a former Diocesan Director of Youth Ministry for the Archdiocese of New Orleans and
currently serves as a motivational speaker and Catholic Evangelist.

Registration Information

Special Clergy Registration for Friday October 28th 2011 from 9:00AM-5:30PM for $50, it includes lunch and seminars for both days. See the registration packet for more details. Clergy registration must be submitted by Thursday, September 22, 2011.

Deadline for Regular Registration for ACCYM is Thursday September 22, 2011 (post marked or hand delivered) with individual rate of $115 per person & parish rate of $100 per person (note parish rate is only for groups of ten or more from the same parish; all participants must register at the same time. Parish rates will not be available after Thursday September 22, 2011)

Late Registration is Tuesday October 11, 2011 (must be post marked or hand delivered), individual rate is $125 per person (No refunds, substitutions, or parish are allowed for Late Registration)

One Day Registration is due by Tuesday, October 11, 2011 (must be post marked or hand delivered) at the rate of $85 per person (No refunds, substitutions, or parish are allowed)
