RENEW International's Theology on Tap...
A way for Catholic Young Adults and their friends, in their 20s and 30s, married and single, to: meet together in a local restaurant or bar listen to a speaker, and gain new insights into faith engage in discussion focused on Catholic themes share their own faith experiences relax, eat, drink...have fun!
RENEW Theology on Tap is a registered, national program begun by the Young Adult Ministry Office of the Archdiocese of Chicago. Theology on Tap is outreach to and collaboration with young adult Catholics in pursuit of spiritual growth. It is a method of invitation, based on a spirit of hospitality, which creates a space for people in their 20's and 30's to explore how faith in Christ can speak to their circumstances.
The Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart was one of the first parishes of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston to implement Theology on Tap (now RENEW Theology on Tap) and in the Fall of 2010 their young adults revived this outreach program. Theology on Tap, an education component of the Co-Cathedral Young Adults group will kick off the 2011 Fall Series "We Exist to Evangelize" onThursday, August 18th, 2011.
Theology on Tap Fall series occurs the 3rd Thursday of the Month, from August to November, at Ruby Tequilas. Located at 2616 Lousiana Street, Houston 77006 (midtown). Space is limited to 100 seats; RSVP to theologyontaphouston@gmail.com or visit our Facebook event page here
