Overview

Thank you for applying to be part of the Bayou Awakening #14 Staff!

A few things you need to know…

You will find three applications on this site:

  1. General Staff Application
  2. Staff Head / Staff Assistant Application
  3. Speaker Application

In order to staff Bayou Awakening – regardless of what role you wish to play – you MUST fill out a General Staff application.  After you’ve filled out your application, you will need to print it and mail it with payment ($50) to:

If you feel called to be on leadership or to give a talk, THEN you fill out the appropriate application (in addition to the General Staff App).

Important Dates and Deadlines:

  1. General Staff (that means EVERYONE, including Speakers and Leadership)
    1. Will need to submit their applications BY 11:59pm on December 10th, 2009.
    2. General Staff Assignments will be announced no later than December 20th.
    3. Will be required to attend one of three Workshops to be held January 30th, 2010 at the U of H Newman Center; February 20th, 2010 at the U of H Newman Center; or March 6th, 2010 at the TSU Newman Center (you are welcome to attend all three if you’d like).
  2. Staff Heads/Assistants
    1. Will need to submit their applications BY 11:59pm on November 10th 2009.
    2. Leadership will be announced no later than November 12th.
    3. Will be required to attend a Leadership Retreat on November 15th at the Chancery at St. Dominic Center in Morkovsky Hall from 12:15 – 5:00pm concluding with 6:00pm Mass at the U of H Newman Center.
    4. Will be required to attend a staff selection meeting TBD between the 11th and the 19th of December, 2009.
  3. Speakers
    1. Will need to submit their applications BY 11:59pm on November 20th 2009.
    2. Speakers will be announced no later than December 1st.
    3. Will be required to attend a Speaker Preview Day on February 6th, 2010 from 10 – 4 at the U of H Newman Center where they will give their preliminary talk and receive critiques from leadership and a panel of experts.
