Encountering Christ
in the Word proclaimed at mass is one of
the ways we become transformed into new
creations in Christ. Before we go to
mass every week, it is important we read
and reflect on the readings so that we
are fully prepared and open to what the
liturgy offers us. This section offers
different ways you can reflect on either
the daily or weekly Sunday readings of
the liturgy. If every day you read the
daily liturgical readings you will find
that in three years you would have read
almost the entire bible!
Reflections and
prayer with Sunday readings and liturgy.
Includes articles on the text,
historical context, early Church
writings on the readings and musical
reflection:

Gathering at the Eucharistic liturgy is
the summit and font of our faith and
brings us together as a Church. This
guide will help you understand how the
parts of our mass are tradition based
from the earliest years of the Church
and also rooted in scripture. Look at
the parts of the mass and explore the
scripture passages that give it
inspiration to appreciate our liturgy
even more!
