School of Environmental Education (S.E.E.)
The school of environmental education is an accredited school offering a supplemental education program to the parochial schools of the area. S.E.E. provides a four-day outdoor experience of God's gift of nature while studying life cycles, food chains, the environment's effect on man, man's effect on the environment, conservation of resources, etc. We also offer hands-on experience with farm animals and gardening along with many other exciting adventures in outdoor education. Available for 5th graders.

Part I - A traveling learning model consisting of nine three-dimensional models of land use activities, constructed with a protective acrylic cover. The model is used to instruct students about dangers to our drinking water. Available for grades 3 and up.

Part II – A hands on activity is which students attempt to locate water contamination in an imaginary town. Contamination sources are identified, plotted and discussed. Available for grade 5 and up.

Global Village
Provides insight into the poverty that is seen throughout our world. Through this experience students can glimpse into the way most of the world's people live. Global Village participants spend half a day living like a subsistence-level farmer in a developing area of the world. Groups are divided by lottery into "families" and allocated basic resources food, water, firewood, and shelter. Not all groups have access to all resources, and each must barter with others to acquire essentials. Global Village accommodations include five houses representing poor to wealthy dwellings according to world standards. Available most Mondays grade 7 and up.
