A Prayer for Our Archdiocese

Father, we thank you for your constant and loving presence in our lives.

As we continue on this planning process for our Archdiocese, we humbly ask you to bless this mission. Be the moving force in all we do. Jesus, our Redeemer, enlighten us to embrace all of our sisters and brothers. Loving Spirit, fill us with your gifts and inspiration.

May the fruits of our pastoral listening sustain the poor, give hope to the sick, comfort those who suffer, call the complacent to love, welcome home our distant sisters and brothers, and bring greater glory to your Son.

Mary, our Mother, intercede for us that we may follow God's Holy Will.

May all who are touched by these efforts find their hopes and aspirations fulfilled so that we are truly transformed into the one Body of Christ.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Oración para la arquidiócesis

Padre, te damos gracias por tu constante y amorosa presencia en nuestras vidas.

Al planificar para nuestra arquidiócesis, te pedimos humildemente que bendigas esta misión. Se la fuerza motivadora en todo lo que hagamos. Jesús, nuestro redentor, ilumínanos para acoger a todas nuestras hermanos, Espíritu Santo, llénanos de tus dones y de tu inspiración.

Que los frutos de nuestros encuentros pastorales sostengan al pobre, den esperanza al enfermo, conforten a los que sufren, llamen al amor a los indiferentes, den la bienvenida a nuestros hermanos que se encuentren alejados, y den mayor gloria a tu Hijo. Maria, Madre Nuestra, intercede por nosotros para que sigamos la santa voluntad de Dios.

Que todos los que sean tocados por estos esfuerzos encuentren sus esperanzas y aspiraciones realizadas para ser verdaderamente transformados en el Cuerpo de Cristo.
