DSF appeal for Archdiocesan ministries underway
Date: 2/8/2013

HOUSTON — This year, the theme of the annual Diocesan Services Fund (DSF) appeal, chosen by Daniel Cardinal DiNardo, is “Faith Working Through Love,” based on Galatians 5:6, which states: “Bear one another’s burdens. And therefore you will fulfill…What is required of you in Christ.” The annual campaign to support more than 60 Archdiocesan-wide ministries is underway and the local Church is asking parishioners to continue their generous giving to DSF. The fund supports ministries such as those forming youth in Catholic faith; providing support and preparation for clergy; teach, evangelize, worship and outreach to the incarcerated, poor and sick; and programming to strengthen Christian families, among many others. A full list of the ministries supported can be found at The Archdiocese counts on DSF funds to help meet the needs of people struggling throughout our region.
