Marriage course set

HOUSTON ― A foundational course on the doctrine and theology of marriage for all couples and individuals working in marriage ministry is set for Aug. 25 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at St. Dominic Archdiocesan Center, Morkovsky Hall, Room 205. The cost is $30 per couple or $20 individual. The cost includes the book “Marriage: Love and Life in the Divine Plan,” a light breakfast and lunch.

The course addresses contemporary issues such as living together, same-sex marriage and divorce. The class is based on the U.S. Bishops’ pastoral letter on marriage by the same name.
