Catholic Charities serves as the primary social service agency of the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and works in valued relationships with parishes and other Catholic and non-Catholic organizations to help people meet their most basic needs. Catholic Charities advocates for justice and social change according to Catholic Social Teachings. Catholic Charities operates 15 social service programs in Community Services; Specialized Children’s Services; Housing Programs; Refugee Resettlement; and Parish Relations and Advocacy.
