VIDEO: What would you do to stand up for religious freedom? Find out one woman's courageous answer.
June 27, 2012

In commemoration of the Fortnight for Freedom, the Daily Vine spoke with Julie Aftab, a client at Catholic Charities of Galveston-Houston, about her experiences with religious oppression. Julie, a 25-year-old Pakistani refugee, was brought to the United States after two men attacked her and threw battery acid on her face and body because she refused to denounce her belief in Jesus Christ.

In this short video, Julie shares her story — and talks about why she values religious liberty as a cornerstone of her freedom today.
