The Office of the Secretariat for Communications
strives to be an instrument of education and communication by informing
the public about the Word of God and the role it plays in our faith
community.
The Office of the Secretariat for Communications is responsible for all
internal and external publications in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston .
In addition, the Secretariat Director of Communications is the official
spokesperson for the archdiocese and provides news and information
regarding diocesan events, programs, services and issues relating to the
Catholic Church in national, state and local media outlets.
The Texas Catholic Herald, the
archdiocesan Office of Radio, this website and
the annual Catholic Directory for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston are all
part of this secretariat.
