Parish Services undertakes projects that provide in-depth financial and senior level management leadership assistance to Archdiocesan organizations, parishes and schools. In addition, Parish Services insures that the Archdiocese's risk mitigation and disaster management policy needs are met by all organizations. This department has overall responsibility for the creation and management of a centralized purchasing function for the Archdiocese. The Director of Parish Services will also provide leadership for the Archdiocesan MIS and Telecommunications Department and is a team member of all major computer systems upgrade project work teams and serve on the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston's IS governance and strategic IS implementation committee.
