WORKSHOPS IN 2012
EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS OF HOLY COMMUNION
Saturday, May 5, 2012 - 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
St Cecilia Catholic Church - 11720 Joan of Arc Drive, Houston 77024
Employing the formation guidelines for the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, participants will explore the:
• Ecclesial nature of the Eucharist
• Eucharist as sacrifice, memorial, banquet, and school of active love for neighbor
• Real Presence of Christ
• Eucharistic reverence
• Purification of Vessels
• Norms for the Distribution and Reception of Holy Communion
Registration fee of $30 includes lunch.
Include your check of $30 payable to the Office of Worship with your registration and postmark the mailing by April 23, 2012.
Seating is limited so register early. If you miss the registration deadline (postmarked by April 23) you will need to register at the door, the walk-in registration fee is $40. Walk in registration is accepted as long as space is available. Click here for registration form.
