Adult Faith Formation


Inspired by the bishop's document Our Hearts were Burning Within Us and the National Directory for Catechesis, the Archdiocesan CCE Office is happy to assist parishes in making adult faith formation "the central task in the catechetical enterprise."

Directors of Adult Faith Formation throughout the archdiocese meet together each February and August to network, share resources, calendars and best practices. In February of each year, the CCE Office offers the Festival of Workshops in Adult Faith Formation, to help adult faith formation leaders and committee members learn how to plan lifelong adult faith formation as part of the parish's catechetical plan. The CCE Office also offers the Adult Faith Formation Resource Book with over 300 pages of resources for Adult Faith Formation programs, which can be ordered through the Archdiocesan CCE Office. In addition, the CCE office continues to develop a Certification program for Catechist of Adults.
