Disability Community Events

Community building events, offered by parishes around the archdiocese, honor the gifts of persons with disabilities by further welcoming them, and their families, into the full life of the Church. Children of all ages and disabilities, along with their siblings, enjoy summer festivals, which also offer mini-retreats for parents and care providers. "God's Holy Family" retreat affords families a fall weekend getaway at Circle Lake. Picnics and dances are also offered throughout the year. Financial assistance is available. Attendance at the Advent Gathering grows annually.
