Auxiliary Bishop Sheltz

Prayer for our new auxiliary bishop

O God, eternal Shepherd,
who, governing your flock with watchful care,
choose to join George Sheltz, your servant and Priest,
to the College of Bishops,
grant, we pray, that by his holiness of life
he may everywhere prove to be a true witness to Christ,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

- Roman Missal: Collect for an Ordination of a Bishop
